Oh mate, the grilled hake was pure magic and the chateaubriand? Chef deserves a round of applause! Plus, the breakfast was top-notch with local goodies, and the staff really added to the vibe. Such a lovely spot for a woodland wander and a nosy around Narberth!
Our room was a bit snug for two, not enough space for a wardrobe was a bummer. And that dodgy folding door for the ensuite. let’s just say it wasn’t exactly built for privacy!

The food was really delicious, especially the carbonara with chicken goujons and the unique strawberry panacotta eton mess for dessert. I loved relaxing on the sun terrace and enjoyed the lovely garden area for a peaceful break. Just a heads up, our room could use a little sprucing up, but it didn’t take away from the great experience overall! 😊

I thoroughly enjoyed the hotel's stylish decor, offering a charming blend of modernity and tradition. The property is easily accessible with well-maintained pathways, allowing for comfortable navigation as a senior traveler. It truly felt welcoming.
More seating options in common areas would be ideal.

Outdoor seating area has unique fire pit tables, perfect for relaxing evenings under the stars. The hotel is a great base for exploring the charming local area, just a short stroll from restaurants and shops in town.
Rooms felt a bit cramped, and it would be nice if they had fans available during warmer nights. Breakfast was average. the simple toast couldn’t compare to thick-cut alternatives, and some items arrived lukewarm. The lack of curtains in certain rooms could disrupt sleep, which might be an issue for families. It's worth noting that there weren’t any meals served on one night, leading us to scramble for dinner plans, though options nearby did exist.

but dinner was a letdown since it wasn't available on sunday night, which we weren’t told about. also, the soup and sandwiches were pretty bad quality.
